Buyer's Guide

  1. A buyer should always be pre-qualified by a mortgage broker before looking for property.
    This will determine a price range that is affordable. If you make an offer on a home, the
    pre-qualification letter should be included. Sellers want to know that you are a qualified
    buyer.

  2. Decide what location would best suit your needs. Consider work location, family, friends transportation, schools, shopping, entertainment, etc.

  3. What type of community would be best? A family community, active adult, gated, golf
    community, country club, intracoastal, beach?

  4. What type of home do you want? Single family, two story, villa, townhouse, condominium?

  5. How many square feet do you require?

  6. How many bedrooms and baths do you need?

  7. Do you need a garage or two or would a carport do?

  8. Do you want a pool, a patio, a large yard or zero lot?

  9. Do you have to sell a home before you can buy? If so, is it already under contract
    or at least on the market?

  10. How soon do you need to move in?

  11. Always work with a professional REALTORŪ. This will save you time, energy, money and mistakes.
